Your data sits behind a login per portal

Before anyone can read a week of sales, someone has to sign in, export and line up each source by hand.

A login per portal

Each retailer and distributor runs its own portal, and most of them offer no open API to pull from.

Reports that arrive by email

Smaller retailers send a weekly file instead, so part of the week's data sits in someone's inbox.

Every source names the store differently

The same store shows up under a different name and number in each report, so nothing lines up until someone matches it by hand.

How it runs on Corvera

Three steps, set up with the Corvera team.
STEP 1

Connect your portals and inboxes

Give Corvera the access your team already uses for each portal. Emailed reports reach it through a forwarding rule.

Questions about retailer portal data

How does Corvera get data out of a retailer portal?

Corvera signs in to the portal the way your team does, with the access you give it, and pulls each report. Most retailer and distributor portals offer no open API, so Corvera reads them the way a person on your team would.

What about retailers that send reports by email?

Set up a forwarding rule to your Corvera inbox, or add Corvera as a recipient on the report. Each file is read when it arrives and mapped like any other source.

How often does the data refresh?

As often as each source publishes. Some retailers report daily and others weekly, so Corvera pulls each one on its own schedule and ranks the accounts to call every day.

Which portals can Corvera connect to?

Start with the list your team signs in to today. The Corvera team checks each portal and emailed report with you at setup.

Do we have to clean up the data first?

No. The Corvera team builds your store and product directory with you at setup: Corvera proposes how each name in each report maps to it, and your team approves. Each match is made once and kept for every report after.
